You know quick-opening hardshell roof tents, and you know ultralight roof tents that are fiddly to put up. What if you could combine the two? The Eezi-Awn GALAXY roof tent brings together the best of both worlds: it opens in under 40 seconds and yet weighs just 45 kg.
With its gas-strut mechanism, the GALAXY sets up and folds away in under 40 seconds, about as fast as it gets. And despite its solid build it weighs only 45 kg, which makes transport and handling on the road easier. The integrated aluminium rack system provides stability and mounts easily on all kinds of vehicles. Because the tent is so light, it can be fitted by two people without much in the way of aids.
Another highlight: the large windows on each side of the tent and the clear PVC roof window not only give great ventilation but also fun at night for anyone who likes stargazing. A 70 mm thick, laminated high-density mattress provides the comfort you need for sleeping. The sleeping area measures 197×125 cm.
The two pockets in the tent are a nice touch too, keeping things tidy. The tent itself is made of hard-wearing 260 GSM ripstop canvas in grey.
At a compact 210 cm x 140 cm x 16 cm when folded, you can easily store the Eezi-Awn GALAXY roof tent in the cellar or garage over winter. The supplied PVC cover keeps it well protected at all times.
