LED vehicle lighting is popular and has many advantages. Now the Osram LED Night Breaker is available for the Toyota Land Cruiser J4 to J7 too, legally.
Thanks to the cool-white 6000 Kelvin LED light, the Osram Night Breaker offers not only fatigue-free driving and brighter light. They are also ahead when it comes to durability. Finally, Toyota Land Cruiser drivers can benefit from this on their Land Cruisers J4 to J7 up to model year 2006, because Allrad Keba has, together with Osram, obtained national approval in Germany. It applies to the models with round headlights. For the models with square headlights there is currently no approval yet.
Plug-and-play conversion to the Osram LED Night Breaker for the Toyota Land Cruiser J4 to J7
If you have the original Koito headlights in your vehicle, you can now legally convert to LED bulbs from Osram. Because many of the earlier LED bulbs from no-name manufacturers were not legal in Germany until now. But with the Osram Night Breaker too you have to be careful: the national approval always applies only in connection with the headlight specified for the LED bulb. The LED bulb replaces the classic bulb 1:1. The conversion is like changing a bulb, is extremely simple and can be done by anyone themselves.

One more tip
The H4 connector of the Osram Night Breaker LED is attached to a cable. Take two cable ties and find a suitable spot to fasten the fully assembled cable somewhere so it doesn’t chafe.
Note
Since this is a national approval under §22a StVZO and not a UN-ECE approval, the certificate handed over with it must always be carried in the vehicle. The LED lights are also fitted with fans for cooling, which only work on 12-volt vehicles.
