High-resolution displays, satellite images, community features and truck-specific routing including weather warnings set apart Garmin’s new dēzl LGV series of truck sat navs.
Garmin is launching three new sat navs in the dēzl LGV series. They offer the full feature set for truck navigation. For the displays you can choose between 6.95-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch sizes.
Alongside the truck-specific navigation that’s been available for years, the input of thousands of truck drivers in the dēzl community is now available to use too. That gives the driver plenty of extra information, such as truck parking with ratings, satellite images of frequently used loading ramps and other relevant truck locations, plus popular truck routes shown on the map. Weather warnings, wind speeds in particular, add to safety.

Through the dēzl community, truck drivers can connect and share their findings to make it easier for others to navigate to loading ramps, truck entrances and parking. When you know in advance whether a car park is empty, full, well-lit or quiet, you can travel more efficiently and with greater safety.

The loading-ramp information may be less relevant for people travelling in a truck, but the other community information on pitches and the weather warnings are of interest. Thanks to individual truck profiles (height, weight, length, width and dangerous goods), the sat navs can calculate vehicle-specific routing, including low-emission zones, which means less stress in the cab. Warnings about sharp bends ahead, steep descents, speed changes, level crossings and dangerous wind speeds along the route add to safety.
The new community features
As part of the dēzl community, you can find and rate available truck parking with the best reviews along the route. You can also display loading ramps, security gates and truck entrances at your destination that other truck drivers in the community use and have shared. To become part of the community you need to use the dēzl app on a compatible smartphone. The last few metres to your destination are easier to judge thanks to high-resolution satellite images.
The right hardware for every cab
The high-resolution touchscreens come in 7-inch, 8-inch and extra-large 10-inch display sizes. The 8- and 10-inch models can be used in landscape or portrait. Powerful components allow faster route calculation, animations and map interactions. Detailed navigation maps and updates are included.
The three dēzl LGV720/820/1020 truck sat navs are available now in the Garmin shop. Sadly they haven’t appeared in the Garmin shop yet. That should happen in the next few days. The recommended retail prices are between 439.99 and 899.99 euro.
