Each year horntools now plans to present a few new developments. Among them is the new horntools Elements roof tent, based on years of experience in roof tent building. It’s offered in three sizes and two colours.
The right roof tent for every size. Solo traveller or couple, a family of three or four, everyone will find the right size in the horntools Elements roof tent. With three different widths of 1,400 mm, 1,650 mm or 2,200 mm at 2,340 mm length, and the two colours “Ocean” and “Stone” (cover image), there should be something for everyone.
Elements is the top tent in the horntools roof tent range
The Elements roof tent is meant for people who travel often and gladly with a roof tent. The 300 g/m2 PU-coated canvas of 35% cotton and 65% polyester withstands a 2,000 mm water column. Sky View windows are worked into the roof, opening up the view into the night and the starry sky. You can get comfortable on the 80 mm thick cold-foam mattress and enjoy that sense of freedom with a view through the roof window. If the weather isn’t so kind, the rain cover for the horntools roof tent helps.
Inside, dimmable LED lighting is built in. A handy telescopic ladder is on hand for weather-protected access to your rooftop home. Setting up and taking down takes about 10 minutes. The built-in windows can be propped open with metal struts. The metal struts have a V-shaped kink that helps water drip off and makes fitting easier.
Annex as an option
For longer stays in one place, an annex is just the thing. It simply attaches under the folded-down floor and you have a full tent in which you can sit and stand too.
