Often various technical components have to be banished from the van to the vehicle’s underbody for reasons of space. In many cases that includes the night heater. G:Part has therefore developed a protective box for the night heater: the G:part heater box.
Out of its own predicament and experience with a night heater flooded with water and mud in an off-road park, the latest product at G:part Fahrzeugzubehör came about: the „Heizbox Premium“ – the G:part heater box.
The G:part heater box consists of a stainless-steel housing (1 mm thick) with a suitably sound-damped mounting. Apart from the burner intake air and exhaust, this box is completely sealed from the environment and so protects the heater from mud, water and dust. To keep water and mud out of the heater, these are routed downwards so that a kind of hydraulic protective space is created (water presses upwards; if the burner is sealed, nothing gets into the heater).
A nice side effect of the G:part heater box is the built-in sound-insulation lining, which can noticeably reduce the noise level during heating and contributes to a pleasant, quiet background in the interior. Because the box draws its air freely, overheating of the heater at the housing is ruled out. The connection cables for power and controller are routed into the vehicle interior together with the intake air.
The box fits 2 kW air night heaters from the most common night-heater manufacturers on the market.
The kit contains all the components needed for a simple, straightforward installation. Detailed instructions guide you step by step through the installation process and so allow trouble-free integration of the underfloor Heizbox Premium into the vehicle.
You will find more information on the heater box on the G:Part site.
