The off-road specialist STOCK & STEIN is being repositioned as of 1 June 2026, with plans to expand the product portfolio, sales and international marketing.
H&R Spezialfedern GmbH & Co. KG is taking over STOCK & STEIN GmbH, including the established off-road brand TREKFINDER, as of 1 June 2026. The company, which has specialised in off-road accessories since 1995, is thus being repositioned early and with an eye to the future, as part of an orderly succession.
STOCK & STEIN has made a name for itself over many years as a specialist in high-quality off-road accessories. The product portfolio includes, among other things, suspension components, lift solutions, protective and add-on parts as well as practical accessories for 4x4s, travel and adventure vehicles.
With the takeover by the H&R Group, the TREKFINDER brand and the existing off-road programme are to be developed further consistently. The aim is to expand the portfolio, broaden the sales network and significantly strengthen the international marketing of the products. The existing online platforms www.TREKFINDER.de and www.STOCKundSTEIN.de remain important digital sales channels and are to be developed further in a targeted way as part of the future sales strategy. At the same time, the synergies of both companies are to be used consistently.
The long-standing experience, the technical competence and the engineering of H&R will in future feed more strongly into the development of new TREKFINDER products. The logistics processes are being restructured too: handling will in future run entirely through the high-performance H&R Logistics Centre.

In future Yannick C. Remmen, Managing Director at H&R, will take over the management of STOCK & STEIN GmbH. Company founder Henrik Schmidt remains connected to the company in the long term and continues to be responsible for the commercial management. That way both the established know-how and the long-standing market and product competence are retained in the company.

“In H&R we’ve found our ideal partner for the future of STOCK & STEIN and TREKFINDER. H&R has produced suspension solutions for TREKFINDER for over 20 years and therefore knows the brand, the products and the requirements in the off-road segment from years of working together. For me, H&R was therefore the best solution for developing TREKFINDER further in the long term and expanding it internationally. At the same time it was important to me to arrange the succession early and responsibly,” explains Henrik Schmidt, founder of STOCK & STEIN GmbH.
“The takeover of STOCK & STEIN is a strategic step for us towards the consistent expansion of our portfolio in the growing off-road and adventure segment. By combining our engineering and homologation competence with the long-standing off-road experience of STOCK & STEIN, we’re creating the basis for innovative adventure products with international potential, in both the B2B and the B2C sector,” says Yannick C. Remmen, Managing Director at H&R.
With the takeover, H&R is setting the course for further growth in the area of off-road accessories and at the same time strengthening the TREKFINDER brand as a specialist supplier of high-quality products for 4x4s, travel and adventure vehicles.
