Whether an outdoor shower or in the vehicle, the main thing is that the water is warm. Sure, on a hot day and after a few rounds of swimming in the sea, a cold shower feels good too. But still, nothing beats a really nice warm shower to start a relaxed evening. Only where is the warm water meant to come from?
Quite simply! From the always-present heat source, the engine. And anyone who has a water-based auxiliary heater can use that too. With the KoMa.land warm-shower kit (available from mid-January). In six to eight minutes you have warm shower water. Lovely, isn’t it?
Flexible and simple: the KoMa.land warm-shower kit
How does the KoMa.land warm-shower kit work? Quite simply. It’s based on a heat exchanger and so offers you maximum flexibility. The heat exchanger is installed into the vehicle’s cooling circuit and supplied with fresh water via the included pump. The fresh water can come from a portable or permanently installed canister, from a water connection or even directly from a stream. A thermostat makes sure the water doesn’t get too hot, as it can briefly reach temperatures of up to 60°C.
Advantages of the heat exchanger
Doing without a hot water tank or boiler brings a number of advantages. You don’t have to permanently set aside space for a hot water tank or carry the extra weight around all the time. When you don’t need warm water at the moment, you simply pack the system away. After dismantling and draining, it’s also completely frost-proof. You don’t have to do anything special about it. You pull off the standard Gardena connector, the residual water runs out, done. No insulation is needed and there are no pipes in which water could sit.
The best part, though, is that there’s no limit on the amount of water. As long as fresh water is supplied, you have warm water. With the KoMa.land warm-shower kit you can easily shower the whole family including friends. The whole system manages without valves, heating strips or similar components. It’s very simply built and can also stay at home if the car is used in everyday life, for example.
