The towing capacity of the Jeep Gladiator JL is 2,721 kg on the standard vehicle. ORZ has found a solution for this and offers an increase to 3,470 kg.
With the standard frame of the European Jeep Gladiator, no higher towing capacity than 2,721 kg with a braked trailer is possible. The first approach was to reinforce the frame. However, that didn’t work, and in tests the frame cracked anyway.
ORZ therefore decided to import the rear frame section from the US model. Customers with higher towing needs can now order it from ORZ and receive a TÜV Süd certificate with it. This allows the towing capacity to be legally raised to 3,740 kg. Together with the ORZ slide-in adapter, you’re then ready to go.
