With the VIAIR 400P EF Digital, Nakatanenga has a mobile 12-volt compressor in its range that fills large off-road tyres quickly and stops by itself once the set pressure is reached. No more constantly watching the gauge.
The VIAIR 400P EF Digital builds on VIAIR’s familiar 400P series and adds digital pressure control with an automatic stop. You set the desired tyre pressure, the compressor fills and switches off on its own once the value is reached. The display shows the current and the target pressure at the same time.
This is especially handy when you have been driving off-road with low tyre pressure: you simply set your desired road pressure, press the switch and off you go.

Built for big tyres
The compressor is designed to fill high-volume tyres quickly, thanks to VIAIR Enhanced Flow Technology. It delivers a high airflow of up to 73.3 l/min at 0 bar, and a revised compressor head improves heat dissipation. Against dust on dry tracks and gravel, a 6-stage air filter silencer keeps dirt out of the intake air.

Practical details of the VIAIR 400P EF Digital
The 7.6-metre coiled hose reaches far enough on most large off-roaders to fill all four tyres from one spot without moving the unit. The Clip-and-Lock connector pushes onto the valve and holds quickly and securely. An LED work light is built in for jobs in the dark, plus a red flashing warning mode for a breakdown at the roadside.

The housing is rated IP54, and the compressor comes with an I-beam base plate and a transport bag in stealth black. It connects via battery clamps, and the cable has a built-in 40-amp fuse (a so-called inline fuse) that protects the unit.

Technically, the 400P EF Digital runs on 12 volts, reaches up to 10.3 bar (150 PSI), draws a maximum of 30 amps and weighs around 4.9 kilograms. The pressure can be shown in bar, PSI or kPa. VIAIR lists it under part number 40243.
The VIAIR 400P EF Digital is available from Nakatanenga.
