If anyone needs good lighting and knows how to do it, it’s the Swedes. When the far north gets only a few hours of twilight and otherwise stays dark, you develop a different attitude to vehicle lighting. That is reflected in the rules on vehicle lighting, which are somewhat different in Sweden than here. From now on, the high-quality, powerful LED lights from Swedish manufacturer STRANDS are available at Scheinwerfer LUXX.
STRANDS combines a very appealing, refined design with convincing quality. The portfolio includes light bars, vehicle lights, signal lights, tail lights and work lights, as well as the matching accessories such as wiring harnesses and brackets. Advice is needed
Andreas Woithon, responsible for sales and technology at Scheinwerfer LUXX, points out, however, that advice on the STRANDS LED lights is necessary. Unlike most EU countries, which follow UN-ECE regulation R48 for fitting auxiliary driving lights, national rules apply in Sweden. There, three driving lights may be fitted and the maximum permitted reference value of 100 applies only to the strongest light on the vehicle. The sum of all driving lights may exceed 100. Here in Germany, this is regulated differently under UN-ECE R48.
All STRANDS lights in the Scheinwerfer LUXX range carry the necessary UN-ECE approval marks and are therefore homologated not just in Europe but in other countries too. However, care must be taken with the correct combination so that they comply with UN-ECE regulation R48 for fitting lights. Otherwise problems can arise at the latest during the vehicle inspection.
