The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250 convinces with its mix of retro charm, off-road ability and technology, a real adventure all-rounder. Taubenreuther has already developed quite a bit for the new model to turn the off-roader into a travel vehicle.
Despite ever stricter rules on pedestrian protection, the Taubenreuther team has found an elegant solution to be able to offer a winch mounting kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250. At the Abenteuer&Allrad 2025 you can see at Taubenreuther, among other things, the new winch mounting kit, optionally without a winch, with a WARN VR EVO 8 S, WARN VR EVO 10 S or WARN ZEON XD 10. All kits come with a TÜV parts certificate and contain everything needed to fit them.
The new Warn ZEON XD range
The WARN ZEON XD is the newest generation within the ZEON range, a product line that already moved the game on in winch building around ten years ago. With the XD variant WARN has deliberately gone further: the seal has been completely reworked to offer even better protection from water and dirt, and the line speed is higher than ever, it even beats the legendary 9.5 XP, which up to now was the benchmark in the high-performance and competition field.
Proven features are kept: the enlarged aluminium drum diameter gives better heat distribution, a clear advantage when using synthetic rope, since it’s then under less thermal load.
On control too the ZEON XD breaks new ground: a modern BUS system controls the motor precisely and contributes significantly to its lifespan and reliability. The corrosion protection has been noticeably improved and tested under realistic conditions in the USA, including German road salt.
The ZEON XD is supplied as a complete system, including a classic remote and a smartphone receiver. Via the app the winch can be controlled precisely from up to 30 metres away, depending on the surroundings, conveniently, safely and up to the latest technical standard.

Taubenreuther also already offers a precisely fitting skid plate for the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250, for the engine, gearbox and transfer case, made of 6 mm aluminium and mounted at the original mounting points, for real off-road ability and protection in rough terrain.
To turn the Prado 250 into a fully equipped travel vehicle, Taubenreuther also has a mounting kit for a dual-battery system as well as a matching Rhino-Rack roof rack.
And the highlight: a specially tuned suspension for the Prado will be presented at the Abenteuer & Allrad 2025.
